◾ Forms, Patterns and Routines 

Kata are a concise training method to teach the practitioner techniques, develop strength, balance and movement and can also be used to test performance and understanding of many elements of Karate. Regular practice of kata helps consolidate all teachings and practices by rapidly developing form and performance ability. Each Kata should be learned in depth with the senior Kata reserved only for senior students. "Naihanchin", in exception, is a core kata and is practised by all our students.
