◾ Kihon, Fundamental Technique 

We have devised our Kihon (basic, fundamental techniques) through careful deconstruction of the various kata in our system. Our kihon is taught progressively according to the grade of the practitioner. The kihon is intended to develop ability in proper technique, breathing, balance, movement, concentration and mental dexterity. Essentially, regular practice of kihon helps to develop a "Karate" body and mind. Our kihon largely consists of stances and techniques that are practised repetitiously on both sides of the body.
